LimitationsRP45 is recommended especially for labelling of plastic substrates, like plastic boxes and containers in logistics and retail applications. Other labelling substrates should be tested carefully prior to application. Water absorption properties of the face paper will strongly influence the washability properties. Printing ink and method will also greatly influence the wash-off time. There is a risk that the wash-off properties may be reduced if labels are stored in humid conditions or under UV exposure (such as outdoor conditions) for long periods of time. Wash-off properties should be tested beforehand with printed labels.
Regulatory infoThe raw materials conform to FDA 21CFR 175.105 (indirect food contact).
Shelf lifeFrom the date of manufacture: 12 months at +20 °C and RH 50%, except with direct thermal Eco 6 months at +20 °C and RH 50% . Prolonged storage at higher temperatures and/or humidity levels will shorten the shelf life.
